Food: Japanese Delights @ Kazumi Japanese Cuisine, Hotel Bangi Putrajaya

Occasionally, I get cravings for fine Japanese cuisine and I recently came across one restaurant which offers amazingly authentic Japanese food. Kazumi Japanese Cuisine @ Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya has a cosy and comfortable dining area, perfect for family and friends gathering. We were there to try out the all new Fusion Menu which had an interesting twist to the ordinary Japanese cuisine.

FUSION MENU
MAINS

Chirashi Sushi (Regular- RM 69; Premium- RM 99)

This reminds me of the Poke Bowl, except that this one is served in a glass. It is made up of imported sashimi and seafood slices, which is layered with vinegared rice. This is also served with a glass of miso soup :)

Fire & Ice (RM 69)

Tasty soft shell crab sushi with assorted sushi for your enjoyment. The sashimi slices on the sushi was absolutely fresh and of high quality.

Sushi On Rack (RM 49)

The sushi served on this beautiful rack is obviously too pretty to be eaten. With dainty and cute shapes, this gorgeously crafted sushi by the Chef are extremely good as well.

Flying Noodles Inaniwa Udon (RM 49)
I was extremely amazed and excited to find out that they serve this unique delicacy here. I have previously seen in photographs of this flying noodles. For this, it's basically cold noodles from Akita Prefecture served with salted egg sauce.

Surf  & Turf (RM 99)

A platter filled with Teppanyaki beef, deep fried prawn in light batter, deep fried chicken in bread crumbs, potato salad and grilled mackerel. The beef was my favourite, I could even finish the whole plate of it myself as it is grilled to perfection, tender and yet juicy at the same time.

Kushi Yaki (RM 99)
Assorted grilled meat and seafood on skewers

DESSERTS

Shingen Mochi (RM 18)
Raindrop jelly served with soy bean powder and brown sugar. This is absolute bliss and I really enjoyed the smooth texture of this jelly. The jelly itself is tasteless but if eaten together with the soybean powder and some brown sugar, it's perfect!
