Food: Shabu Zone & Grill (SaZoRi) @ Sunway Mentari

Shabu Zone & Grill (SaZoRi) is a modern Japanese fusion restaurant which combines the best of both worlds, steamboat and grill under the same roof. Now, you can just head over and satisfy your cravings for both. The uniqueness of this outlet is the way their buffet line is laid out. Here, they use a hassle free conveyor belt system which allows diners to just sit comfortably in their seats and grab items off the conveyor belt. It reduces food wastages and ensures the freshness of the food itself.

I like how clean this place looks &  I can enjoy my food comfortably. Its unlike most steamboat or grill restaurants which tend to be either smelly or dirty.

And here's the conveyor belt system with some of the food you can just take and cook by yourself! Pretty convenient, right?

For the steamboat, there are four types of soup to choose from and I've listed them below:

Tomyam Soup
I initially thought that this was too spicy but then after trying it with some steamboat items, this is the best soup which I would definitely recommend for those who want more 'kick' out of their meal. It is slightly sour and full of flavour, so it will tingle your tastebuds :)

Clear Chicken Soup
This is suitable for those who prefer a simpler broth to go with their fresh foods :)

Beef Soup
This had that rich, beefy flavour to enhance the taste of literally any food you place in the pot!

There were a total of 6 homemade sauces but the best two would definitely be the Sazori Specialty Sauce and Homemade Chilli Sauce. Both the sauce complimented the taste of the meat and seafood items. Don't worry, the chilli sauce isn't too spicy but rather, it's more tangy and savoury!

The two different grills available, the first is more of the Thai version while the bottom one is known as the Korean grill which uses aluminium foil. Oh, the unique thing which they provide is two different types of oil for grilling; canola sunflower oil for those who prefer a healthier alternative and the usual palm oil which is less healthy but more flavorful. It is up to their customers to choose and I honestly liked how they considered their customers' needs.

Some of the selection of fresh food comprising of mushrooms, mussels, bamboo shoots, clams, prawns, chicken, fish, quail eggs and fishballs. There were lots more than this but these are my few favourites. I really enjoyed having mussels & clams in tomyam soup! Oh, you must try the chicken because their chicken is tender and of great quality.

Here are some of the special items which are not on the conveyor belt but can be ordered ala-carte. No additional charge is incurred once you dine in for their buffet. For lunch buffet, there is additional lamb and beef slices as shown below:

For buffet dinner, on top of the beef and lamb slices, there will be baby octopus, beef bacon, chicken gyoza (dumpling) and chicken ham! The best was the baby octopus which was so fresh and the beef bacon which was juicy and filled with flavor.

For desserts, there are a wide selection of ice cream by Wall's. Here are some of those I've tried and would recommend to you guys :)

Cappucino

Strawberry

Chocolate Chip

Oh, for the sweet tooth, there are many puddings and drinks here which are perfect as desserts after all those food!
