Contrary to the popular belief that pre-loved items may be used and old, I've found a gem in the heart of Cheras where you can get some pretty new and mint condition pre-loved goods. For those who loves shopping, Jalan Jalan Japan is your ultimate shopping heaven. 

The concept behind this is to recycle items which have been used, perhaps once or twice and it is popular in Japan itself. This is because Japan is a developed nation and they live in very tight living spaces. Therefore, they tend to sell off their high quality pre-loved items to make room for more space.

Bookoff Corporation, the brainchild behind Jalan Jalan Japan operates approximately 800 pre-loved stores in Japan.They have brought in this concept to Malaysia in November 2016 at One City Subang. This time, they are opening their second store at 1 Shamelin Mall, Cheras. I was very surprised as the store is gigantic and consists of items from kitchenware, winter clothings, toys, sports equipments, collectible items and household products.

Food: Ramen Goodness @ Solomen Cafe, SS2

If you're craving for some Japanese goodies, I have a great suggestion. I recently tried out a new establishment, serving up some ramen goodness at the busy township of SS2. Solomen Cafe is a modern themed cafe and a good workplace for those who are seeking a quiet place to get some work done.

For girls, it is also a perfect place for OOTD as they have a beautiful setting with white walls and chic interior.

Absolutely love how minimalist this shot is :)

APPETISER

Personally, this was my favourite appetiser. Golden brown, deep fried meaty pork chop served with a drizzle of lemon juice to enhance its flavour! I liked how it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just the right texture of pork chop.

As a kimchi and ramen lover, this dish is a perfect match made in heaven for me. The kimchi was slightly sourish and coupled with the nourishing broth, plus the chewy ramen, this is what I'd imagine comfort food to be like.

Tonkatsu Ramen (RM 20.90)

Somehow, I still do prefer the original pork broth without any other fancy additions to it.

I enjoyed this fried rice because it was fragrant and appetising. Perfect to have it on its own, this is definite a must order at this cafe.

This is a special dessert which is only available here. With cempedak chunks in between layers of cake, this is a local favourite which is worth trying. Enjoy this slice of cake with coffee!

I wish I could have good hair days everyday. Unfortunately, some of us aren't born with naturally silky smooth hair. For me, I did countless chemical treatments such as perm, relaxing and even, rebonding to my hair for the past few years. As a result, my hair is often dry and damaged. MILBON 3 STEP LAYER NANO MIST TREATMENT

Basically, this treatment consists of 3 steps whereby the first is the repairing step. This step is vital to heal the hair cuticles which has been damaged. Next, the second step is applying protein on to the hair. Thirdly, it is the moisturising step whereby hot nano mist is used to seal back the hair cuticles and ensure that the hair is smooth. 

After all the steps have been completed, check out my hair which have been resurrected! So smooth, silky and healthy looking compared to the BEFORE picture. This is a really amazing treatment, especially if your hair is damaged, dry or frizzy.

All thanks to Juno, the Creative Director of 90's Hairstyle for the awesome experience. So glad with the professional treatment I received from everyone at the saloon. Highly recommend this place for those of you who wants to try out this treatment. For only RM 248, it is quite an affordable treatment compared to other saloons.
