Hair: La Biosthetique Protection Cheveux Complexe (PCC) Treatment @ Frank Salon, Bangsar South

I've recently had a perm and with a perm, you have to get a hair treatment done at least once a month to keep your hair in tip top condition. I've been on the look out for a real good hair treatment, which hopefully lasts for a long time. That's when I came across the new La Biosthetique Protection Cheveux Complexe (PCC) Treatment and I attended a media preview on it to learn more about it in details.

My first impression on this new groundbreaking treatment is that it is such an amazing treatment. Probably just what my hair needed to restore its shine and reduce the frizz. The PCC treatment is bio-chemically engineered for lasting regeneration of damaged hair. Basically, it works to rebuild all the naturally occurring bonds in your hair and increase strength in hair. The PCC treatment acts on damaged hair from within and therefore, it will last longer than other ordinary hair treatments.

Here are the product range used in the PCC treatment :)

Mr Alexander from La Biosthetique gave an interesting talk about the treatment and I was particularly impressed with the idea of a hair treatment that doesn't wash out.

I got my PCC treatment done at Frank Salon @ Bangsar South, which I entrusted my hair with previously with.

The ampoule which contains some of the important key ingredients to restore damaged bonds in the hair.

The treatment process was quite quick; just wash and apply some of the products in the ampoule. After that, a hair mask was applied to increase the moisture of hair and soften it.

And, finally blow dry!

AFTER THE PCC TREATMENT

This was what my hair looked like after the intensive PCC treatment and I was pretty satisfied with the result. My hair was definitely healthier, bouncier and less frizzy. It was also so much softer and more manageable, even without adding hair oil or hair products.

So happy when I have good hair days!

Beauty: Resurrecting My Dry Hair with Milbon 3 Step Layer Nano Mist Treatment @ 90's Hair Style

I wish I could have good hair days everyday. Unfortunately, some of us aren't born with naturally silky smooth hair. For me, I did countless chemical treatments such as perm, relaxing and even, rebonding to my hair for the past few years. As a result, my hair is often dry and damaged. I do hair treatment at home occasionally but, somehow its not really useful.

So, I decided that it's high time my hair needs some pampering with proper salon treatment. I have heard many of my friends tried out the Milbon 3 Step Layer Nano Mist Treatment before and they've mentioned how good it was. I tried this treatment @ 90's Hair Style, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling because it's really convenient and nearby my house.

Absolutely love their spacious and chic interior!

BEFORE
My hair really is in need of moisture and a good treatment.

MILBON 3 STEP LAYER NANO MIST TREATMENT

Basically, this treatment consists of 3 steps whereby the first is the repairing step. This step is vital to heal the hair cuticles which has been damaged. Next, the second step is applying protein on to the hair. Thirdly, it is the moisturising step whereby hot nano mist is used to seal back the hair cuticles and ensure that the hair is smooth.

After all the steps have been completed, check out my hair which have been resurrected! So smooth, silky and healthy looking compared to the BEFORE picture. This is a really amazing treatment, especially if your hair is damaged, dry or frizzy.

All thanks to Juno, the Creative Director of 90's Hairstyle for the awesome experience. So glad with the professional treatment I received from everyone at the saloon. Highly recommend this place for those of you who wants to try out this treatment. For only RM 248, it is quite an affordable treatment compared to other saloons.

Daily: Digital Perm @ Hareta Hair Studio, Desa Sri Hartamas

I have always wanted to perm my hair, in fact, I wanted to do it a few months ago. But, since I've been so busy lately with other reviews, I've put off the idea for countless times. Well, that wasn't entirely the sole reason, but I've heard so much about how difficult it is to maintain your hair after perming.

The common misconception we get is that we think that our hair will tend to dry off and end up as a frizz mess after perming. But, this is not the case if you actually do regular treatments weekly to take care of your crowning glory.

So, I finally decided to get my hair permed last week and I had it done at the newly relocated Hareta Hair Studio @ Desa Sri Hartamas. My hairstylist, Jay was very welcoming and I really liked the atmosphere at the saloon as it was very calming and relaxing. I was surprised as there were so many customers at the saloon although it was mid day during a weekday.

Here at Hareta, they use a Japanese brand known as Arimino.

The comfy waiting area

Jay first analysed the condition of my dry and fluffy hair and advised the best hairstyle for me. I wanted a perm so, he showed me a book of different perm hairstyles for mid length hair. I wanted to maintain the length of my hair because its been some time since I last grew my hair out.

This was the style which we both agreed on :)

Jay suggested that he would start off with a layering cut because I needed a hair cut so badly.

Next was the pre-treament which was applied all over my hair to prevent chemical damage. After that, a softening chemical was added to my hair. This step was necessary to allow the chemical to penetrate deep into my hair. Basically, you need a softening chemical to alter your hair structure in order to have permanent curls and Jay used the Arimino Cosme Cream for that. I had some wavy, frizzy hair on top of my head so, it was iron out first before perming. It was almost like they rebonded the hair on top and curled the ones below.

I look like a robot with ice cream sticks in my hair. The sticks were placed to prevent the rubber bands from leaving marks on my hair.

My hair being permed using the digital perm machine and it was a total of 15 mins heating time.

Applying another layer of lotion to fix the curls

To make sure my hair wasn't damaged by the perming chemicals, there was a second treatment which was done.  It is known as the Super Sonic hair treatment with Arimino Caretrico. This treatment originates from Japan and it is supposed to penetrate deep into hair cuticles for repair purposes.

Tada! The shiny, healthy curls after all those :) Oh yeah, I know my hair looks a little brown in this picture but this is my real hair colour.

My before and after pic! What do you guys think? I find the curls so natural and sweet, just like what I imagined it to be. Oh, from this picture, you can see that my hair length is more or less the same.

A mandatory selfie with my new, beautiful curls from Hareta!

Oh yeah, if you plan to perm your hair, make sure you're ready to religiously do a weekly hair treatment to pamper your locks. This is to retain the moisture in the curls and it's important to remember to put oil on your hair every time after washing.

I really love the people at Hareta, they were so professional throughout the 3 hours I was there. You even get a complimentary tea and some nice music too :) A huge thanks to Jay for your incredible work!
