Daily: Educate for Love @ Fashion For Love Charity Dinner Press Conference

Last week, I had the chance to witness the press conference of an important event under the theme of "Fashion for Love". This project has a simple objective, which is to raise funds from the public through a charity dinner and support about 300 multi racial children in need.

Mr Simon Goh (Founder of Creight events) - 2nd from left and the team has already started raising educational funds and preparing towards the main highlight that will be held on the 8th of October 2017 at HGH Convention Centre. This is a great initiative towards collecting the funds for the charity dinner.

The 12 schools have been chosen and shortlisted for this project. The children selected from these 12 schools will be using the funds collected through the gala dinner for essential schooling items such as stationeries, shoes and uniforms. Through this brilliant initiative, unprivileged children have a chance to get proper education in conducive environment.

During the charity dinner, popular Malaysian designers will be showcasing their gowns and designs. The unique idea behind this fashion show is that the children will get a chance to participate in this wonderful glitzy event by parading together during the charity dinner and fashion show on the 8th October!

The Giving Bank, also known as is an online charity fundraining platform in Malaysia. A NGO and a Non Profit Organisation with a mission to connect both the charity and the public through the power of technology. The funds raised are channeled to the selected charitable campaigns and the public can access the website to gain information about the campaigns which generally fall into 3 main categories: Health, Education and Humanity culture.
